Construction Calcium Formate

Calcium formate is a free-flowing, white to yellow crystalline powder obtained from formic acid and calcium salt. Calcium formate is used as an additive to cement and grouts. Requirements for the Use of Construction Additives

 

 

● Calcium formate(construction grade) is used in tile adhesives, cement-based plaster mortar, repair mortar, waterproof mortar, thermal insulation mortar, wear-resistant floor and putty products.

● The amount of calcium formate added generally does not exceed 0.7% of the total mortar.

● Calcium formate(construction grade) has no incompatibility with other additives and can be mixed evenly with cement, sand and other additives in a mixer in a certain proportion.
