Accelerates setting and quick drying
The calcium formate content in tech grade calcium formate is ≥98%, which can advance the initial setting time of cement by more than 30%, and can still ensure forming within 3 hours in a low temperature environment (5℃).

Enhances early strength
The highly active reactive particle structure promotes hydration reaction. Using this product, the mortar strength can reach 4.5MPa within 24 hours, which is nearly 40% higher than when it is not added.

Pure and stable raw materials
This product is made by reacting industrial grade high white calcium carbonate with industrial formic acid, with a purity of ≥98% and a pH value of 6.5-7.5. This product is stable under alkaline conditions and does not participate in side reactions.

Calcium Formate in Concrete

As the temperature decreases, the calcium formate dosage is gradually increased. The specific dosage depends on various factors. These include formula design, ambient temperature, etc. The recommended calcium formate dosage generally ranges from 0.5% to 1.0%. The highest dosage is 2.5%.
