‌The timing of using snowmelt is also very important. The best time is to spread it evenly before snowfall, so as to prevent the snow from freezing on the ground and being difficult to remove. If it has already snowed, it can be spread 1-2 hours before the road surface freezes to reduce the formation of ice. ‌
‌Pay attention to environmental protection when using snowmelt. De-icing agents may harm soil and plants, so they should be used away from plants and water sources. Choosing environmentally friendly de-icing agents may be more expensive, but they can reduce the impact on the environment.
